Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Scope & Definitions
This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms governing digital credit purchases, license keys, and transaction disputes on the LexGuard AI platform ("we," "us," "our"). This policy is designed to maintain compliance with Indian consumer protection regulations regarding digital goods and services.
By purchasing a premium audit license key or purchasing credit top-ups on our platform, you accept and agree to the terms laid out in this document.
2. Digital Audit Credit Framework
LexGuard AI is an automated, non-custodial software auditing tool. Premium functions operate on a consumable utility token system:
- • One-Time License Keys: Premium credits are purchased as single-use validation keys (e.g. ₹999 for 10 audit credits).
- • Instant Generation & Delivery: Upon successful transaction validation by our gateway partner, a premium license key is instantly generated and delivered to your registered email.
- • Immediate Consumption: Redeeming a license key instantly increments your account credit balance. These credits are permanently bound to your user account and consumed dynamically as audits are executed.
3. General No-Refund Policy
Due to the digital, immediately consumable, and software-as-a-service nature of our auditing tokens, all transactions and license key purchases are strictly final and non-refundable.
⚠ Finality of Digital Goods
Once a premium license key is generated or a credit pack is added to your account balance, it is deemed fully delivered. We cannot retract or deactivate digital keys once they have been transmitted or redeemed, and thus no refunds will be processed under standard circumstances.We highly recommend trying our **Free Tier** (which provides free starter credits upon account registration) to test our AI's accuracy, parser speed, and audit scoreboard quality before purchasing premium credit packs.
4. Valid Exceptions for Refund Requests
We recognize that transaction errors can occur. We will review and approve refund requests in the following specific scenarios, provided they are reported within 7 days of the transaction:
4.1 Double Charge / Duplicate Transactions
If you were charged twice for a single order due to gateway latency, network dropouts, or double-clicking, we will fully refund the duplicate transaction within 5-7 business days of bank validation.
4.2 Delivery Failures
If a transaction is completed successfully and funds are debited from your account, but you do not receive your digital license key or credit balance within 24 hours of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund or a manual balance override.
4.3 Defective Digital Asset
If a generated license key is server-validated as corrupt or technically defective and cannot be redeemed on our dashboard, we will replace the key immediately or offer a full refund if requested.
5. Refund Claim Process
To lodge a formal refund claim under any of the exceptions listed in Section 4, please follow this process:
- 1. Send an email to meenasujal60@gmail.com.
- 2. Include the subject line:
Refund Request - [Your Name]. - 3. Attach your transaction invoice, the payment gateway receipt (e.g. Cosmofeed/Superprofile/payment partner), and details of the registered user account.
- 4. Explain the technical failure or issue clearly.
Upon receipt, we will validate the logs with our payment partner within 48 hours. Approved refunds will be reversed to the original payment source (Credit Card, UPI, or NetBanking) and typically reflect in your account within 5 to 7 business days, subject to your banking institution's processing speeds.
6. Account Deletions & Credit Forfeiture
In compliance with Section 8 of India's DPDP Act 2023, you have the absolute right to request the complete erasure of your registered account and associated legal metadata from our database.
Please note that any unused, purchased credits remaining on your account will be immediately and permanently forfeited upon the execution of an account deletion request. We do not issue cash payouts or monetary equivalents for outstanding digital credit balances upon account closure.
